My Experience
In the summer of 2024, I completed the Freckles Childcare residential Junior Nanny Course, alongside training in paediatric first aid. During the autumn term of 2024, I worked as a Gap Assistant at a local preparatory school, where I supported teaching staff in the classroom and assisted house parents and matrons in the boarding house.
In early 2025, I took on the role of Residential Matron at the same school, gaining further experience working closely with the boarding team to support both day and boarding students aged 8–13. As well as working within the matron team.
Since then, I have spent time travelling around the world and am now back home, looking for a role in childcare before starting university in September.
