About Me

We are looking for someone willing to live in Bermuda and frequently travel back to the UK/Europe/Canada with us. We have twins who are 3 months old. The role is day time only, not 24/6 maternity nurse.

My Requirements

Live In Nanny
Full Time Nanny
Household Help

Nanny: The role is Bermuda-based, with frequent travel with the family. The parents both work full-time in the office, five days a week. The nanny has to be dog-friendly, as we have a hypoallergenic toy dog. We will cover all health insurance, and there is no income tax in Bermuda. Prior childcare experience and qualifications with checkable references are essential to obtain a work permit. We will handle the work permit application.

Bermuda is an island with warm weather and easy access to the beach all year round. The island lifestyle is slow and calming.
Suitable for an experienced nanny with grown-up children, loves the sun and beach lifestyle, happy to travel on the plane with babies (plus our dog when we are flying to the US and Canada) and wants to save tax-free income before retirement. We are happy to arrange UK tax advice so your Bermuda income will not be subject to UK income tax.
To reap the full benefit of the no-income-tax environment in Bermuda, you would need to stay in Bermuda for more than a year. Otherwise, you will be hit with a high tax bill by HMRC as they will count benefits such as health insurance worth a few hundred USD a month as a benefit in kind and tax you retrospectively.
