Hello! My name is Millie, I’m 18 and a dedicated and passionate caregiver with a great love for working with children. I’m patient, reliable, and communicative, and I will always aim to build trusting relationships with both children and their families. Due to my experiences, I am able to handle the different responsibilities of childcare and am open to adjusting to the needs and preferences of families.
My Experience
I have so far, 2 years experience in early childhood education and general childcare (specifically 0-5 years), with those 2 years working at a nursery under an industrial placement throughout college. I have some babysitting experience with my neighbours children throughout the last handful of years as they have grown up, as well as looking after my 16 month old niece from time to time. I am currently looking for my first actual nannying job since qualifying in May to contribute to my experience and am open to as many childcare opportunities I can get.
My Qualifications
- 1st Year of college (2023) as part of an educational talk earned a Montessori Certificate of Participation
- Completed a Safeguarding and Prevent instructional course (2023)
- Completed an E-Safety instructional course (2023)
- Completed Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) (March 2024)
- Completed the NCFE Level 3 Education and Childcare Qualification (Early Years Educator)
(August 2024)
- Completed the SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) course which started in May 2024 and finished in June 2024
My Availability
At the moment I am committed to 4 other jobs, I am a Swimming Assistant at Uckfield Freedom Leisure, I clean for Nutley Edge Cottages (east sussex) and am a self-employed domestic cleaner for two agencies (Maid2Clean and The Peachy Clean Company). I am very open to dropping some/all of my other jobs as childcare is the profession I am aiming for the most, I will adjust my schedule based on your family’s needs.
Whether you're looking for regular care or someone to help on an occasional basis, I am happy to discuss how and what I can do to help. At the moment however, I am looking for something more part time as I still would like to keep some of my cleaning jobs and am due to go travelling next year 2025.
(I do have a full driving licence but am in the process of getting a car so am looking for work to be in Uckfield or local to)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
I am again open to discussing fees/pay due to your needs and schedule agreed, as well as this since I am qualified my nannying rates are a slightly more.
