About Me
Hi my name is Kate and I am a single working mum, (I work as nurse).
We live in Hollingdean. I have two children my daughter is 9 and has Autism, my son is 8 and and has Autism and ADHD, and they go to two different mainstream schools.
To manage this I have my son one week, while my daughter stays with her Dad, and then vice versa. The children are together every weekend and school holidays.
My son is now on a reduced timetable and finishes at 1pm every day. I am looking for a fun and patient childminder who can pick him up at 1, drive him back to my home and look after him until I am home. Also possible to do one eve a week around 6.30/7-10 pm on a different day. The days can be flexible, tues, weds or thurs as to which afternoon or eve but would need to remain same every week.
The alternate week it would be to collect my daughter from school at normal pick up time and drive her home and again look after her until around 5.30.
If possible occasional help on half terms and school holidays would also be vey helpful.
We have a cat and a bearded dragon, and the atmosphere is low demand at home.
Ideally someone fit and active, (my son needs this) and fun, and patient. My son loves leg and Minecraft and my daughter loves baking and crafting.
My Requirements
Pick child up from school and drive home.
Engage in any activities they may want. They may just want screen time which is fine if they have need to regulate after a stimulating school day.
Prepare a simple tea and tidy up.
For an evening (on a different day) it would just be to put them to bed, read, help them with their routines and stay with the child until they are asleep. They go to sleep around 8:30
