About Me
I am an excellent Ofsted registered childminder with many years experience in childcare. I am a parent to two adult children my son lives at home and my daughter is married and has a house of her own. My childminding setting is the best place for your child to learn, grow and have fun on their journey to become an exceptional little person . I live in a semi detached house in Stifford Clays (which is 10 minutes from Lakeside).There are local shops and parks nearby. I have a house full of toys and equipment and provide a safe environment for all the children. My garden is lovely, with many outdoor toys and it can be used all year.
My Experience
I have been childminding for over thirty years. I keep up to date with current legislation regarding childcare. I do many online courses, some of my choice and interest and those required by my Ofsted registration. I mix with other childminders and share ideas regarding play and learning activities. I have always had a very good relationship with parents of minded children which enables me to care for the little ones in a professional but very homely /friendly way. I care for each child as individuals and listen to how parents wish me to look after them.
My Qualifications
DBS checked. First aid trained. Diploma in home based childcare. Insured. Ofsted grading GOOD at last inspection, which was February 2023. Health and safety trained. Food hygiene certificate. Driving licence. References from current and/ or previous parents if required.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
£5.50 per hour, reduction for siblings, food included if required. I accept childcare vouchers and government funding, which is available for 9 months old and 2, 3 and 4 year olds covering 15 or 30 hours per week for 38 weeks per year.

My little girl who is now 4 and going to school started with Sue in 2018 and I have never looked back since. I visited many childminders and as soon as I walked in I knew she was the one.
Sue is the rock to my family and without her I have no idea what I would do.
my second child will start with her in September at 8 months old and my eldest will stay after school.
she is very kind and has a great bind with all the children and families she works with.
