My name is zahra, I am a 29 year old woman of moroccan heritage but was born and raised in London. Some would describe me as outgoing, warm, kind and attentive listener. I enjoy spending time with my 10month old son and quality time with family and friends.
My Experience
I have been working in the child care field since the age of 18. I have worked as a nursery room leader, a nanny and as an Early years practitioner at a primary school. I have worked with children from the ages of 0-6years old. I thoroughly enjoy teaching children and delivering excellent pastoral care that is crucial during their early years. I worked at a private sector nursery for 4 years, during that time I was a room leader and worked with children ages 0-5 years of age. I then worked as a nanny for 1.5 years for a family with two children aged 4 and 6, my roles ranged from serving dinner to helping with homework etc. I have also worked at a primary school for 7 years with children in nursery/reception and year one. I have an excellent understand of the early years foundation stage, phonics and reading/writing and other core subjects. I have also done tutoring in maths and english for children ranging from reception and years 1 and 2. I have lots of experience in baby sitting also as i used to baby sit during the evenings.
My Qualifications
I have qualifications as an Early years practitioner Level 3. I am first aid trained and have completed various courses ranging from phonics to SEN and child development.
