About Me
Hi, I’m Barry and I work with my wife Sarah as a childminder at Moonbeam Childminding. We have been working together now as childminders for two years, but I have been working as an assistant for over nine years.
We live in central Eastleigh with our 17-year-old daughter Chloe and two dogs patching Elsa.
Morning, we love exploring the outside and going out on different trips we love visiting different park parks libraries museums and along with soft play.
We provide a safe and fun and home from home environment where children can learn and grow.
My Experience
I have many years of training in different sectors within the young children services, I am fully trained in paediatric first aid and have enhanced DBS.
My Childminding training was with Childminding UK, which included learning and managing a Childminding setting, developing children’s learning, safeguarding children and designated lead, recording children’s development understanding and working with the EYFS.
I have also achieved the following credit in NCFE level two in understanding autism.
Training at Moonbeam Childminding is ongoing.
My Qualifications
NCFE CACHE Level two in understanding autism, Full paediatric trained, Safeguarding level 4, Food hygiene, Full completion of job course.
