About Me
Mum and Dad are first-time parents to an 8-week-old baby boy (he’s 2 months on 8th Dec). Mum and baby need help at home on weekdays while dad is away and family can come on weekends.
My Requirements
Childcare and Support Requirements
1. Care While Mum Sleeps:
• Priority is ensuring mum gets adequate rest. She needs someone to keep an eye on baby while he sleeps or play with baby during the day so mum can sleep, eat, look after herself.
• Since the week of the 25th, baby has been sleeping more in the evenings and is now more active during the day, meaning mum staying awake longer over 24 hours.
2. Bottle and Pump Cleaning:
• Assistance is needed with washing and sterilising bottles and breast pump parts.
• Feeding is mostly on demand, but mum can pump once in the morning and once in the evening if there is help with cleaning and sterilising so that baby can be bottle-fed when necessary.
3. Nappy and Clothes Changes:
• Assistance may be needed with nappy and clothes changes.
4. Household Chores and Tasks:
• Assistance with general household duties is required. Tasks include:
• Tidying up home
• Washing dishes or loading the dishwasher.
• Doing laundry for mum and baby.
• Taking bins downstairs (the family lives in a block of flats).
• Picking up deliveries from downstairs, as building policy prevents delivery personnel from coming up to the flats.
5. Overnight Help:
• Overnight assistance is not typically required but can be discussed.
