Hi there, I'm Mel, and I'm a 46 year old mum to 2 amazing children. I have a 19 year old daughter who's at university, and a 15 year old son, who's in his last year at high school. I love painting and decorating in my spare time, and big on upcycling. I work as cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and have been crew for 27 years (DBS checked). I absolutely love my job, and I'm looking to do a few extra hours on the side. I live in Whitley and have my own car so can travel. I'm more than happy to do one off jobs, or help out last minute if I'm not away with work. Please get in touch if there's anything you need doing, ie school pick ups/drop offs, food shops, baby sitting...in fact anything...I like keeping busy and would love to help out.
My Experience
I'm a reliable, trustworthy 46 year old female who works as cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic. I've been flying for 27 years, and my job requires me to be first aid trained, which I refresh every year. I'm also DBS checked, and complete a basic fire fighting course every 3 years, as well as disruptive passenger training....although I hope I never need to use the disruptive passenger training here haha. I love kids, as thats a big part of my flying job. I have 1 week off every month, so I am looking to do little jobs within this week, or possibly throughout the rest of the month if I happen to be on a day off from flying.

*GNVQ LEVEL 3 (DISTINCTION) LEISURE AND TOURISM
*FULL DRIVING LICENCE
My Availability
As previously mentioned, I have 1 week off every month, so I'm looking to do little jobs within this week, or possibly throughout the rest of the month (if I happen to be on a day off from flying). I'm happy to look at all requests to see if it can fit around my flying roster. Honestly, if you're unsure about anything, please ask...happy to help out with children, elderly relatives, shopping etc. I look forward to hearing from you.
