I am currently unemployed, but my previous role was as an apprentice at a nursery, where I worked for approximately eight months. While I left due to personal reasons and the long hours, I still have a strong passion for childcare. Working with children is something I really enjoy, and I have been drawn to it from a young age, having frequently babysat my younger cousins. Childcare has always been an area of interest for me, and I am eager to continue pursuing a career in this field.
My Experience
During the time at the nursery , I gained experience supporting children’s daily routines, such as feeding, changing, and napping, while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. I assisted in creating a warm, nurturing environment where children could feel secure and supported. Additionally, I helped engage children in age-appropriate activities that encouraged their development, creativity, and social skills.
My Qualifications
During my time at college, I have achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, as well as a BTEC in Media. Additionally, I received a First Aid certificate during my previous job at the nursery.
