About Me
I am a recent Natural Sciences graduate from the University of Cambridge, living in central Cambridge. In my spare time, I love baking, hiking, spending time with friends and playing rugby. For the future, I am looking to a career in education or academia.
I love working with children and am enthusiastic, empathetic, hardworking and creative, keen to provide the best possible care to children for whom I am responsible. I’m looking for regular nannying work in Cambridge, largely in the mornings (see availability), or ad hoc evenings and weekends. I particularly value clear communication from the families I work with.
As a babysitter/nanny, I am always keen to play and have fun, and aim to make the child feel at ease. I like to do a range of different activities depending on children's preferences, both outside and inside, including arts and crafts, cooking, imaginary play, sports and being out in nature. I also love to take children to the fantastic free university museums in Cambridge, particularly the Zoology museum. I always love to read a story to help a child wind down at the end of the day, and I’m a big believer in the importance of play, kindness and self expression, as well as good manners and diet. I am confident caring for children of all ages and babies from 6 months.
I am also available for tutoring services for children in year 6 and over. I have 5 years’ tutoring experience and offer mathematics and the three sciences to GCSE, and Biology to A-level. I’m happy to help younger children with their reading, writing and maths informally as part of childcare, if required.

My Experience
I love working with children, and have been babysitting since I was 16, along with other types of child-focussed work, including:
- Babysitting experience since 2018
- Academic tutoring since 2020 - 3 Sciences and Maths from primary to GCSE, Biology to A-level
- Playworker with the University of Cambridge Holiday Playscheme, running activities for and looking after children aged approx 4-11
- Assistant Tutor at The Perse Summer School for children from ages 7-14, assisting with courses and looking out for the welfare of the children
- caring for cousins as babies and toddlers in recent years
I am DBS checked, safeguarding trained and on the 9th April I will have a paediatric first aid certificate.

- University of Cambridge (Murray Edwards College), Oct 2020 - June 2024, BA (Hons) in Zoology, Natural Sciences Tripos (1st class)
- 3A*s at A-level - Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics)
- DBS (CRB) checked
My Availability
After May 14th, I have availability in the mornings and all day Monday and Thursday. For weekend and evening care, I’d be keen for ad hoc arrangements. I am beginning postgraduate study in September, so will not be available after the summer unfortunately. I do not have access to a car, but I am a keen cyclist and am of course happy to use public transport within reason! Do get in touch :)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
For nannying, starting from £16/h depending on number of children, duties etc. Babysitting starting from £13/h and tutoring (3 Sciences and Maths from aged 10 to GCSE, Biology to A-level) between £30-£40/h.
