About Me
A mother to one baby girl. I work as a Sales Director for a software company. Majority of the time I work from home but may on occasion need to go into the office or attend meetings elsewhere.
My Requirements
My daughter was born prematurely at 24 weeks, 4 days. She has been around for 9 months now, corrected age is almost 6 months.
She suffers from reflux so needs to be fed with regular breaks, and kept upright before being put down flat for nap or play.
She is difficult with day naps, wanting to be cradled to sleep. Probably us putting her in the habit earlier on but with everything she'd been through, we did what we could to make her feel safe and close to us.
Happy for her to be sleep trained of this is something you have experience with.
We have started solids once a day if she'll have it. Purees for now and have started a small amount of smoothies in the morning to see if it helps her reflux, not sure at the moment. Some days she's ok and others, she vomits a lot.
She has a condition, diabetes insipudus, which means she cannot regulate sodium in her body. Essentially, she passes a lot of urine, meaning sodium in her blood gets concentrated and reaches higher than expected levels. She has to take medication 3 times a day depending on her urine output. During your shift, she'll require one dose, at or around 2pm. Her nappies have to be weight every 4 hours to determine whether she requires the medication or not.
She also takes steroids 3 times a day, again, during your shift, it will be once, at or around 2pm.
Any medical appointments, either my husband or I will take her too. You'll be informed of this beforehand if it means reduced hours on that particular day for you.
Likely hours will be Tuesday - Thursday, 0900-1800.
I am due to return to work from April but I will have work once a week from 5th February, every Wednesday, so will need support once a week from then but will then go to 3 days a week from April.
