Responsibilities

Pre-Arrival Support:
• Assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups. School / nursery in Amersham (3 miles away)
• Help establish and maintain routines for the older children to ease their transition to life with a new sibling.
• Undertake light household tasks, such as preparing meals, tidying children’s spaces, and managing their laundry.

Post-Arrival Support:

• Provide attentive care for the newborn, including nappy changes, and soothing as needed.
• Support the older children with activities/clubs, school routines, and playtime to ensure they feel nurtured and included.
• Help maintain a clean, organised, and harmonious household.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with a nurturing nature, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive attitude. Experience with newborn care and managing a multi-child household is essential. A background in early childhood development, up-to-date enhanced DBS checks, first aid training, and a positive, patient demeanour are highly desirable.

Details

• Schedule: Ideally Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5.30pm. Hours can be negotiated but must include school runs and a couple of days taking the children to clubs. We are also open to a nanny working wraparound hours if they can accommodate school runs and clubs a few times a week.

• Location: Little Chalfont.
