About Me

I'm Covid-19 Vaccinated

My Name is Rachel and I am 43 years old. my personal background is nursery nurse, nanny and foster carer. My husband and myself have six children between us (2 are all grown up). I'm looking at going back to work and a different career change. I will be helping my husband in the office but also looking to join the police force. We are looking for somebody to become a valid member of our family. The care of our children is paramount and would be to the most high standard.
I've always been a stay-at-home mother even when looking after other people's children. So looking for somebody to be part of our team is not a light decision and would thoroughly be thought through.

My Requirements

Babysitter
Special Needs Experience
Mothers Help
Household Help

We are looking for somebody that is passionate and incredibly patient. That is loving, kind, with good standards and morals.
We have 3 Children and at times 4 that requires a baby sitter/ mother's help.

First Child is 16 years, male. Cheeky with a great sense of humour. He has down syndrome with sensory process and difficulties and developmental delay.

Second child is 10 years old male, loving, kind and very sensitive. He great empathy for others but is very active due to having ADHD.

Third Children is 10 years old, female. She is Kind and sensitive and shy. She loves dancing and art. Only lives with us 40% of the time due to being my stepdaughter and is resident with her mother. She would require care in the holidays with her siblings.

Last but not least our Beautiful Daughter 16 months. She is just starting to develop her own character , very Cheeky, head strong but very loving.

We would require anyone wishing to come on board with us to have a full police check at least two interviews, the first one with myself, the second one with both my partner and I before meeting the children.

Are you looking someone to first work alongside myself first, Certainly some babysitting and then to be left in charge and have full responsibility of the youngest while the others are at school and all children in holidays. I am wishing to return to work part-time. Alongside their this there could possibly be some PA work to work with my eldest son who has down syndrome. This would be working for the local authority although employed by us in regards of payment and DBS checks, this would require taking him to the gym. Possibly some SEN groups and the cinema etc. Helping develop his independence.

As you can imagine our children require routine, structure and continuity. We're quite an active family, it can be full on here. Crazy but always loving. I would describe as a little bit like the Paddington Bear family. We are very proactive parents and encourage our children to do lots of sports and activities, we are also passionate about education.

Anybody joining us would need to be willing to do first aid courses some possible makaton there would also be some other training would be offered for example sensory integration. We are very much looking for someone that is dedicated and it would be happy to be part of our team/ Family.

We really look forward to hearing from you!
