About Me
Hi, I'm Charlotte an experienced Ofsted registered Childminder. I hold a paediatric first aid certificate and have been DBS checked. I live close to St Anne's park and playground as well as nearby woodlands, and within walking distance of children's centres, and the local library.
My child care setting is set up to welcome children using adult led and free play activities in a safe and nurturing home environment, and I encourage outdoor play as much as possible. Activities include: dance, movement and relaxation incorporating mindfulness and yoga poses especially designed for children; music time with ukuleles and percussion; interactive stories and singing; going for walks and exploring the local woodlands; collecting things from the wild and using them in arts and crafts; sensory and messy play; playing in the garden, science experiments; visiting the local library, other childminding settings, shops, parks and play groups.
My Experience
I have worked as a Childminder since 2016 and have completed my third year of the 'Bristol Standard', which is a self evaluation framework that supports all settings to develop and improve their quality and effectiveness through reflection. I also have 3 years experience supporting literacy and reading with children aged 4-7, as well as past experience of baby signing and a basic knowledge of Makaton.

My setting is open between: 9:00am & 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
