About Me
I have three children of my own (now teenagers) and a handful of small nieces and nephews so I have lots of my personal childcare experience, but I don't have formal certificates as this isn't my career. I'm looking for occasional work, babysitting, local after school care etc - I'm happy to do a bit of cleaning, tidying, ironing etc. I'm a confident cook. I'm pretty flexible as I'm self employed. I live on a farm a few miles from Wiveliscombe. Fine with dogs and animals.
My Experience
Three children of my own, plus small nieces and nephews - a bit of voluntary work in a local school reading when my children were small. I know my number bonds and time tables! I run farm tours on our farm which usually involves a group of at least 15 excited children and their families! I'm quite creative - I do a lot of cooking, I make bread, I also do a lot of painting and crafts.
My Qualifications
I have a BA in Fine Art and in June this year I will complete an MA in Fine Art (University of the Arts London, Central St Martins). I worked at Sotheby's in London in my twenties. I have a qualification (CELTA) to teach English as a foreign language, I also have a basic (Level 2) certificate in autism. I have a clean driving license. I have been CRB checked in the past when I volunteered at our local primary school. I have done first aid training in the past - with St John's Ambulance. This is all some time ago though. I can provide character references.
My Availability
Ad Hoc Only at the moment. I might be able to do regular days later in the year. I'm studying for a masters at the moment (online) but I wouldn't do that at work obviously! I graduate in June and will have more availability after that date.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
I'm not very familiar with the going rate - I imagine this is something like £15 per hour day time, £12 an hour babysitting after children are settled. We can discuss this!
