About Me
Hello, I'm Katie, a Childminder in the LS13 area (St Catherine's)
I live with my partner James & and my son Jakob.
Registered Childminder of 20 Years.
I currently have a lovely group of children at the setting and run a welcoming home from home setting.
We visit local groups, parks, and playgms and spend some great days with other local minders in the area.
I can provide funding in all age groups.
Visits are always welcome.
I have a diploma in children and young adults.
Level 2 Children's mental health.
Completed the EYPDP practitioner development programme 2024.
I have training in safeguarding, e- safety, and first aid.
Portfolio of training courses completed to see on visits.
Purpose built playroom and fully enclosed garden/play area.

My Experience
I have been a registered Childminder for the past 20 years. Graded 'Good' April 2025
I work closely with Early Years and follow/document all EYFS.
I track and observe all your child's developments and daily activities via an online system so you can get updates and photos throughout your day.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Fee's are...
£5.75ph for all ages
All funding is accepted with no hidden or extra costs.
Outside of funding rate -
£5.75ph under 5 years (EYFS).
All food, drinks, wipes, and outings are included within the hourly rate.
Morning School wrap around fees are a set fee of £10.00 7:30am to drop off.
PM school runs wrap around fees are set fee of £15.00 from collection to 17:30pm. *Snacks/Dinks included.

It’s always a daunting moment the first time you have to leave your children to return to work but Katie made it so much easier. My daughter has been attending Katie’s setting since starting Primary School and is sadly due to leave in Aug 2021, for her next chapter in high school.
Throughout this time, Katie has provided us with exceptional care and a home from home service. She goes above & beyond the call of duty and is always on hand if any problems arise.
The care she provides isn’t just for the children within her setting but for the mums & dads too - we all need a bit of help & advice along the way!
Katie has given my daughter some everlasting memories which will stay with her forever and will be sadly missed when we start the high school chapter.
If you could bundle her up and take her with us - we really would!!!!
Katie isn’t just a ‘childminder’ she is family, a friend, a confidant and one of the most trustworthy people you’d be lucky to meet.

I was a bit warey going from a nursery to a childminders for my 2 year old boy. But I could not wish for a better childminder. Katie makes my little boy so happy and comfortable. He is a late starter at talking katie does everything even more then you would get in a nursery. I can't recommend katie enough she is very well organised and easy going and very flexible. Please take a minute to read her profile or even ring for a visit you won't be disapointed.
