My Experience
I have extensive experience working with children in various roles. I spent time at an American summer camp as a swimming instructor and camp counselor, fostering children's skills and confidence in and out of the water. As a qualified primary school teacher for three years, I’ve taught Year 4 and currently teach Year 6, bringing two years of classroom experience to help children grow academically and socially. My second-class degree in Early Years Education focused on children aged 6 months to 5 years, enhancing my understanding of early development. I have also taught swimming for six years to learners of all abilities and previously worked as a council lifeguard, ensuring safety and supporting water-based activities.
My Qualifications
I hold a 2:1 degree in Early Childhood Studies with Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), a PGCE in Primary Education specializing in teaching children aged 3-11 years, and a Level 2 qualification as a swimming instructor.
