My Requirements

Personal Assistant / Caring role for my little boy (4) to provide respite for me in my own

Looking for someone to effectively be a PA, you could be a nanny or sitter, or someone with experience with working with children and looking for something extra.

Looking for a kind, patient, and reliable individual to support my child in our own home. Based in Gloucester. The individual needs to be low demand, nurturing, holistic, empathetic and child led in their approach.

Consistency and reliability are really important to help build a safe, trusting relationship. I am looking for someone with experience of working with children with additional needs, in particular autism with high aniexty. Desirable if you have knowledge and understanding of PDA / demand avoidance.

The role would involve some personal care (nappy changes) however would be very minimal until a relationship has been built. Taking part in tech games, outside in the garden, arts and crafts and following the lead of my child, this may even mean just being close by and not physically engaging, he enjoys his own space.

My little one loves animals, Halloween, bugs, forest school, tech games that involve creating and building, arts and crafts. Full of energy with a complex sensory processing profile. Can present with some challenging behaviour when feeling anxious, overwhelmed or a perceived loss of autonomy.

Hours: 10 hours a week term time, 10 or 20 hours during the holidays. This would certainly include days of the week. Some time in the evening on a Friday or Saturday or maybe some afternoon hours on these days too.

I also have a younger child (nearly 2) which may be included in some hours.

Can be flexible and happy to share hours between more then one person, if you are able to help out with some hours please get in touch.

Must have a DBS, and training from our OT can be provided if needed.
