About Me
Fully qualified teacher, I have over 10 years experienced of working with children in early years and in primary schools, as well as supporting children with SEN. I believe children thrive through child led, hands on play, with caring adults coming alongside them if needed. I am also trained as a Waldorf early years practitioner, an approach I am very passionate about, as it gently nurtures children’s needs while also offering security through predictable rhythms and routines. I feel strongly that over use of screens adversely affect a child’s healthy development. I am on the DBS update service and I am paediatric first aid trained. I would love to support a family in their established rhythms by providing nannying or tutoring services. I would be happy to teach any Primary school subjects as well as German up to GCSE.
My Experience
I was a Nanny for a family with three small boys when I first left school for 1 year and then I had my own three boys. The most fulfilling task. Once my boys were old enough, I gained over 10 years experience of working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in mainstream Primary Schools. 5 years ago I completed a PGCE and QTS teaching qualification in an Early years setting. Following that I worked in a Waldorf Kindergarten as Kindergarten Teacher and then in a further Waldorf Kindergarten as a Manager.

My Availability
I am available during weekdays for nannying or tutoring. I would be happy to babysit occasionally during the evening or at weekends.
