About Me

Hello,
My name is Elizabeth! However, day by day I like to go by Lizzie. Hopefully by reading this you will get to know me personally and professionally. I will start by going over some of my professional background.

So, my main professional background has been working in healthcare as a nursing assistant and I ended my time as a band 4 and over the years I specialised in an array of areas in that position.
I started off in London, where I grew up and I therefore originally trained at Kings college Hospital in adult trauma, adult trauma, and orthopaedics, and then ended my time there in Paediatrics.
However, I was specifically trained in Liver paediatrics for childhood liver disease and in emergency transplant on the Ray of sunshine ward.
So, I’m fully qualified in both adult and paediatric first aid and CPR and luckily, I have been told I’m a brilliant swaddler.
Since then I have had some time in retail working Marks and Spencer's specifically in the brand Jaeger.

As I mentioned I’m originally from London and I moved to Cheltenham around 2 years ago where I began specialising in palliative care in Leckhampton. Which is also now my hometown.
I am currently taking a break from working in healthcare as I’d like to branch out into other career opportunities.
Hopefully all the above displays to you that I am driven, hardworking, and very motivated with a high work ethic. I am extremely organised and very clean. In fact, it’s rather a joy for me, I’m a bit of a nerd for organisation. I am brilliant with my time keeping which I know is key for busy family life. So, know you can switch off a bit if you need me to babysit or nanny.
However, I’m also really creative, bubbly and fun. I love to create light-hearted and free-thinking games for children. New and exciting ways to get homework done. Intertwining the game into the tidy-up time and getting the children outside.

I am also an auntie to two lovely and, I must say, rather energetic, little ones; so, I do believe I have good personal experience in this area as well as just professional. I have been there for the newborn stages all the way up to the tricky toddler times.
Before being an auntie to my sisters children I babysat an abundance of times for my massively oversized family of 14 cousins (and then all their babies) so as I said, the personal experience isn’t too lacking.

Some of my personal hobbies include winding down with a puzzle and a podcast, knitting, baking (and this is always a fun activity to do with children plus a brilliant life skill), painting, and making music. I am not really a drinker, its a very rare occasion that I have one or two. I treasure the early mornings, daytime activities and feeling my best too much, so you can count on the fact that 'going out' is not what I see as a hobby and therefore rely on me being accountable and productive to the best of my abilities 100% of the time.

I am available everyday mornings middays, noon’s, evenings, and overnights, basically full time if needed. The only small exception I would need if I was luckily hired full time is Wednesday mornings where I attend therapy at 10am on a weekly basis.
I don’t currently drive but I have my theory test booked in for next month so am hoping to start saving for the lessons as soon as possible. However, if your local I will of course be able to make it work. So, please use me to your advantage if it sounds like the right fit. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your family. Message me with any questions, queries or just to say hi.

My Availability

I am available every day Monday - Sunday. I am very happy and accustomed to 12 hour work days so if that is the shift pattern you would need it is not anything id be opposed to. Therefore it goes without saying a shorter working day would also suit if it preferable for your families needs.
The only hours I need to honour being off schedule are Wednesday morning 9am - 12pm as I have weekly therapy that I would like to honour.
