Hi, My name is Laura, I am an OFSTED registered Childminder based in Widnes. I live with my partner & we have two Daughters who are 15 & 9. We also have a family Dog Pippa!

I am a kind, nurturing, bubbly & fun person with lots of energy.

My beautiful playroom is home from home and provides a bright and welcoming space for your child to explore, learn and enjoy lots of free play & structured activities too. It opens out to a large secure back garden and decking area providing a wonderful outdoor play area where we will spend lots of time exploring & having fun!

At Laura’s Little Learners each child will receive high quality early education following the EYFS guidelines in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

For all children who attend my setting my intent is to get them as school ready as possible. This will be achieved with child led play, focusing on their own individual needs & Interests.

Each day will be busy & fun, learning while we play! We will do activities such as singing, Dancing, yoga, reading together, messy play, baking, painting, art & crafts. We will visit local parks, museums, libraries. We will spend time with other childminders and the children they look after and much more!!

I passionately believe a child’s social & emotional wellbeing should aways be a priority so while with me they will also learn the skills to
• Be able to communicate & express their feeling and emotions.
• Know they are important and loved.
• Be a kind and caring person to themselves and others.
• Be confident to try new things and not give up when they are hard.
• Know its ok to make mistakes.

As a mum of two I completely understand how hard it is to leave your little ones , I will work in close partnership with all parents to make sure you are happy with the service I provide for you and your child. I will constantly be assessing your child's development while in my care and will use 'next steps' to document what we can work on together to help your child progress.
