About Me
I'm an engineer, and my wife and I welcomed our first baby on January 2nd, 2025. We're very excited to explore childcare options and are particularly interested in programs that offer financial support, as we want to provide the best possible environment for our newborn to thrive during this important stage of development. My wife is currently on maternity leave, and we believe that a good childcare program will be invaluable in helping us navigate this new chapter as a family.
My Requirements
We're looking for childcare starting in December 2025, a month before my wife returns to work. Our little one, born on January 2nd, 2025, will be about 11 months old then. We'd like to ease into things with part-time care initially, two days a week, to help our baby get comfortable with the setting and caregivers. Then, when my wife goes back to work in January, we'll need three full days of care.
A warm, stimulating, and clean environment is really important to us. Cleanliness is a big priority. We're hoping to find caregivers who focus on developmental activities, get the kids outside to play, and encourage language development. A low caregiver-to-child ratio would be fantastic too. We're open to different childcare options – nurseries, childminders, whatever feels like the right fit. We're excited to hear about your program and see if it's a good match for our family.
