About Me
I am a bright, energetic, and loving 3-year-old with a curious mind and a big heart! I have autism and ADHD, which means I experience the world a little differently. I can be full of energy one moment and need a quiet, comforting space the next. I love sensory play, music, outdoor adventures, and structured activities that keep me engaged. Transitions can be tricky for me, and I sometimes struggle with emotional regulation, but with the right support, I thrive!
I am looking for a warm, patient, and experienced childminder who understands neurodivergent children, behavior management strategies, and sensory regulation techniques. If you have experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) care and love working with children who see the world in unique ways, I would love to meet you!
My Requirements
Childcare, Tutoring & Household Requirements
Childcare Needs:
Provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment with clear routines.
Use positive behavior management strategies and regulation techniques (e.g., visual schedules, transition warnings, calm-down spaces).
Engage me in sensory play to help with my sensory needs (e.g., messy play, water play, weighted blankets, fidget toys).
Support my emotional regulation and communication using visual aids, Makaton, or PECS (if needed).
Encourage social skills development through gentle, guided interactions.
Tutoring & Learning Support:
Use play-based learning techniques to support my early learning and speech development.
Incorporate structured activities to help me with attention and engagement (e.g., Montessori-style tasks, simple puzzles, turn-taking games).
Adapt activities to my learning style, allowing for movement breaks and hands-on experiences.
Household Support:
Help maintain a calm and organized environment, considering my sensory sensitivities (e.g., reducing loud noises, adjusting lighting).
Support with meal preparation that aligns with my sensory preferences and dietary needs.
Light tidying up of play areas and ensuring my safe space remains accessible.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced in working with children with autism, ADHD, and additional support needs. Knowledgeable in behavior management, sensory regulation, and structured learning approaches.
Patient, nurturing, and adaptable, with a love for engaging, hands-on play.
Able to communicate effectively with my family about daily routines and progress.
If this sounds like you, I would love for you to be part of my world! Please reach out with your experience, availability, and any relevant qualifications.
Looking forward to meeting you! ?
