About Me
We are a friendly family based in East Dulwich, near the library, with two boys aged four and two. Both parents work full time and the boys go to a nursery behind Goose Green every day.
My Requirements
We are looking for a warm and energetic afterschool nanny to collect them at 5pm and bring them home for some play and a snack. They are bright and creative, and love endless stories, drawing, playing with toys and being outside. We would love to find someone with experience of kids this age and who has boundless energy (our eldest likes to ride his bike home when possible), to join our family for the long term as our eldest will starts primary school in September so it would be lovely to have the continuity for that transition.
One of us would be home in time for bath and bed, we try to start wrangling around 6pm to get them into bed for stories by 7pm ish.
Core hours would be 4.30pm-7.30pm, with one or two evenings babysitting a month. There are extra hours if candidates are interested in helping with light housework and laundry, cooking a meal for the family and even the occasional weekend (neither of us have grandparents nearby so we’ve never been able to get away together and would love to try once everyone was settled in!).
