About Me
Hi,
We are a family of four. We have two girls who are 11 and 13, who are autistic, and have adhd. Our eldest attends a specialist school and boards three nights a week and our younger goes to mainstream. Both girls are lovely, although can be lively at times. They can be shy to begin with but once warmed up to you, will happily play games, chill and go to bed sensibly.
Our eldest is also epileptic but she currently bas visual auras only. She has never had a tonic clonic seizure and is on medication to reduce her auras.
We do have five housecats (indoor only) as well, ranging from a year old to 14. They are exceptionally friendly and love to say hello to visitors so anyone looking after the girls, needs to be comfortable with them being around.
My Requirements
We are looking for a babysitter for occasional evenings out, usually a couple of hours or so to go to the cinema, or theatre. Whilst our girls are old enough to possibly be left for a short while, we wouldn’t feel happy doing so until they are older due to their additional needs so we really just need someone who will come and be with them, watch tv, play games possibly and ensure that they go to bed and have had their medication before bed. (They are good at taking their meds).
