About Me
Hello,
I am a 23 year old female looking for full time childcare/ nannying positions. I am also open to babysitting posts. I have always working within the childcare industry as this is where I thrive and see my future career path. I have a warm and welcoming energy which I think is vital for children to enable them to feel safe and comforted in order to play and develop. I have a lot of patience within my work which is another important aspect, I also feel my creativity towards my work really shines through the children and allows me to better understand my knowledge of play and exploration. This enables me to create diverse and unique play opportunities for the children.
My preferred age group is early years and children of primary age. I can cook, clean and am comfortable around all animals. Please take the time to read my profile.
My Experience
I have experience working in two nursery settings working with children from 0-4 and have extensive knowledge of the EYFS and newborn experience. I have also worked in a special education needs setting for some time and have knowledge and skills to work with children with SEN, I have experience of this through not just my work but also my home life. I come from a large family and am the oldest of 6 siblings so I am very familiar with family life and the skills required to care for young children.
I have an active DBS and am also first aid and paediatric first aid trained with both my certificates for these.
While working in a special educational needs setting I acquired seizure training, how to spot the signs and take action and also peg training for children who are peg fed.
I regularly keep up to date with theorists to help incorporate into my planning to create safe and inviting spaces for children to play, I encourage the use of Montessori and forest play for young developing minds.
My Qualifications
I completed GCSe childcare and finished with a B before going on to college and doing my level 3 extended diploma in childcare and I got an A in my first year. Although I did not complete the course due to covid I did feta grade for my first year and have the knowledge to take on with me.
My Availability
I am available all throughout the week and this can be extended to weekends. I can cover before and after school times as well as evenings.
