Hi, I’m Paige, a passionate and experienced childminder with a lifelong love for working with children. Growing up in a large family, I was always surrounded by little ones, which naturally led me to a career in childcare. With years of hands-on experience, I provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
I believe in the power of creativity, and I love incorporating music and arts into daily activities to inspire imagination and self-expression. Whether it’s singing, painting, or getting crafty, I encourage children to explore their creativity in a playful and engaging way.
I’m also an animal lover, and I enjoy teaching kids about kindness and responsibility through interactions with nature and pets. My goal is to create a warm, home-from-home setting where children feel happy, secure, and excited to learn every day.
My Experience
I've always had a natural love for working with children, growing up in a big family surrounded by siblings (ages 1-15) and cousins (ages 3-12). From an early age, I was helping out with playtime, homework, and daily routines, which gave me a real understanding of how to care for and engage with children of all ages.
Beyond my personal experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work in different childcare settings, gaining valuable hands-on experience:
Volunteering in a nursery – I worked with children aged 0-4, assisting with play-based learning, sensory activities, and storytime. This gave me great insight into early childhood development and how to create a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Tutoring KS3 students – I have helped older children with their schoolwork, particularly in core subjects, focusing on building their confidence and making learning a positive experience.
Private childminding and babysitting – I have cared for children aged 1-10, providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment. I love incorporating creative activities like arts and crafts, baking, and imaginative play, as well as outdoor adventures, whether it’s nature walks, park trips, or active games.
I believe in creating a warm, home-from-home setting where children feel happy, secure, and excited to learn and play. Every child is unique, and I always tailor activities to suit their interests and needs, making sure they are having fun while also learning valuable skills.

My qualifications include, Child and Young person mental health and Safety.
First Aid and current DBS Check.
My Availability
My availability currently is Mornings, afternoons from 2.30PM and all day friday.
However for the right position, I would be open to changing some things around to meet the needs of the family. :)
