About Me
I have worked in the PICU for 17 years and decided it was time for a change. I have 3 children of my own who are growing up fast and I wanted to be at home more and becoming a childminder has been the best decision I have made!
My business has been running for just over a year and I have really enjoyed the day to day running of my service.
The setting is situated on a working farm in a rural area, we spend a lot of time outside. We often take a picnic and go on "Adventures" to nearby woods/fields/streams to explore nature, climb trees and learn about the environment. Within the large garden, we have chickens/ducks, raised vegetable beds, multiple berry bushes and a small fruit orchard where the children can get involved with growing and preparing seasonal produce.
Inside I have a large playroom with plentiful resources but we use multiple rooms on the ground floor for different activities. Within the playroom is a play structure with slides/tunnels and ball pit which the children love. This allows for active play when the weather limits or keeps us inside!
