About Me

Hi, my names Olivia and I am 25, and I have been living in york since 2020 with a year break in 2023-24 where I lived in cambridge for 1 year for work. I moved here as a student, and I now am completing my PGCE to become a full-time teacher :)

I love being creative; drawing, scrapbooking, painting and I embed this into my childcare and teaching practices. I love being outdoors and in nature, alongside visiting mueseums and events in my local community, I am not afraid of being outdoors in any weather!

I am an easygoing and professional babysitter who doesn't mind being flexible with hours on the weekends, and I am happy to look after children inside the home or go out with them in the local area if this is something the family felt comofrtable with. I am confident with changing nappies, sleep training, feeding, potty training, administering common medication, and general areas of support in the daily lives of young children.

I am pediatric first aid trained, CPR trained and fully enhanced DBS checked since 2016, with records of these easily available. I can also provide references of previous employers if needed :)

I have been in the education and childcare profession since I was 16; completing a level 3 diplioma in early childcare and education then working full time at a local nursery for over 2 years. I then moved to york to study education studies and SENI at university, completing this in 2023 where I moved to cambridge for 1 year and working full-time at a private nursery group. I have babysitted for family and friends, and professionally for parents at my nursery jobs. I long-term babysat for a family at my first nursery, regularly babbysitting in the evenings when needed.
