My Requirements

I am looking for an overnight nanny for my 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter; while I travel back and forth to Bristol for work. My contract spans between May 12th 2025 to February 20th 2026, during which time I have 28 weeks of guaranteed work.

For those working weeks, I am looking for someone to cover 4 overnights a week. This would include 3pm school pickup, to stay overnight and drop off to school the following day.

The commitment would be :
Monday school pickup to Tuesday school drop off (includes overnight stay)
Tuesday school pickup to Wednesday school drop off (includes overnight stay)
Thursday school pickup to Friday school drop off (includes overnight stay)
Friday school pickup until late that night. (I’d get a late train home from Bristol)

In reality, you will probably not be required to work on all committed evenings due to my variable work schedule. But I think it best to cover all nights just in case. And there would be added daytime hours during school holidays.

I usually have my rota in chunks of 5 weeks at a time. And for transparency, each new rota is sometimes issued as late as the final Friday of the previous rota.

There will be weeks when I am home full time and not need as much help. (I’d suggest one 'keeping in touch' day, on weeks off.) So this position would suit someone who is content to work part time.

The successful applicant must have experience with similar aged children please, and be comfortable feeding and caring for our French bulldog Sapphie. (She will go to a dog walker in the daytimes).

I am looking for someone proactive who will look after, chat and have fun with the children at home. As well as making meals, helping them keep on top of homework and practice their musical instruments. We look forward to welcoming someone to our family.
