About Me

My name is Fatima, and I am an OFSTED-registered childminder based in Manchester (M16), near Alexandra Park. I am also a mother to one child, so I understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
I offer a warm, home-from-home setting that is clean, safe, pet-free, and smoke-free, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming space for little ones. My childcare approach is child-centred, allowing children to learn through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.

My Experience

I follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework to support children’s development in a fun, engaging, and structured way. I encourage learning through play, focusing on key areas such as:
• Speech and language development – through Storytime, singing, and interactive activities
• Physical development – through outdoor play, dancing, and creative movement
• Social and emotional well-being – helping children build confidence, independence, and positive relationships

I also introduce children to early maths, literacy, and creative arts through play-based activities that spark curiosity and a love for learning.

Trips & Activities

I believe in giving children new experiences beyond the home setting. We regularly visit:
• Local parks for outdoor play and nature walks
• Libraries for story sessions and book exploration
• Museums and community events for interactive learning
• Baby and toddler groups to support social development

I have completed all the essential safeguarding and childcare training required to provide high-quality care, including:
