Hi. I’m Alea and I am 42 years old with over 20 years of experience in childcare! I’m a very passionate person who has a positive and kind attitude.
I currently work Part time at a nursery school, which I really enjoy and find rewarding. I have always worked with children, from my secondary school work experience in a nursery, to this day! So you can say I have a lot of experience and I have learnt a lot through my career. I am also a mum to three amazing children, so I come with all the practice and experience of being a parent.
I have worked with children of all ages, predominantly 2-5 year olds. I have also worked with SEN children . I am well equipped to help children grow into inquisitive, intelligent, open minded young thinkers . I will always ensure that your child is growing in a happy and safe environment.
My Experience
I started off working as a support worker for children with special needs and disabilities. After having my own family and in between my children, I worked in nursery’s and preschools. I have a level 3 qualification in Working with Young Children . I am a key worker to over 7 children including SEN children .
I also have the best experience of being a mum to a 21, 18 and 11 year old ! Through these experiences I have developed excellent communication and behavioural management skills as well as completing relevant courses such as safeguarding.
