About Me
Having graduated in July from the University of Westminster with a BA Hons in Fashion Business Management, I am looking for a new role outside of the industry that I care about and know I am capable of performing well in.
Other than Fashion, Fitness is also my passion and I love playing tennis, going to the gym and trying out new pilates studios. I adore reading and understand the value in creative practises for children.
I love being a Nanny as it extremely rewarding to me to help a child grow, and I believe I learn so much about myself as well. I am unsure of what I want to do specifically in the future, and so would like to be able to take this time to establish my preferences by doing some industry related workshops such as styling. Learning French and Spanish is also a goal of mine as I recognise how valuable this skill is.
Despite never Nannying a family’s children for a long duration of time, I have much experience baby sitting and helping provide some of my family members with day care over the school holidays.
It would be an honour to get to know part of someone’s family and help out in any way possible at all to ease the stresses and chaos of everyday life!
My Experience
Family 1:
Daily duties consisted of arriving to the house early at 2:30pm to prepare supper and snacks, any general housekeeping and cleaning required and organising activities for the children to do once they got back home
The boys went to the same school however picked up alternative times every other day either 3:30pm or 4:45pm, during the one-on-one time spent with the boys I would arrange play dates or take them to local parks. The girl had a later nursery time pick up between 5-5:30pm.
I established a very blissful night-time routine for all of the children making sure they all had their preferred down time after supper. All uniforms and clothes were organised and washed daily by myself and laid out ready for the next day.
Whilst maintaining organisation in the playroom for all the toys and cleaning all the caldrons bedroom every day, I would also ensure to clean uptake kitchen, dining room and sitting area at the end of each day.
Usually left around 8pm but also did adhoc hours in the mornings for school runs, assisted during the days on school holidays and babysitting as well.
We enjoyed baking a lot together, reading stories and creating crafts dependent on what each child was learning at school/interested in at the time.
Family 2:
Baby sitting and general house-keeping duties whilst family were away on holiday and for their honeymoon.
I would start at around 9am and do the day shift whilst her mother would then come over and take care of the girls during the evening and overnight.
On and off since October 2022, as and when required.
Day duties consisted of making lunch and had regular snacks, fun activities and outdoors at least once a day either to the park or for a walk.
Lived around 30 minutes from me at the time.
Family 3:
Baby sitting in the evenings.
I would arrive around 6pm and assist with the night-time routine of washing, showering, reading a book and putting them to sleep. I would let the girl have some down time when putting the boy to bed and then spend more time with her after.
Majority of the time dinner was arranged by mother however occasionally I would arrive at 5pm and cook for the girl and ensure boy had been fed with correct portion sizing.
This was on and off when I first moved to London and stopped when mother went back to online university from home.
