My Experience

Little Beans Garland
December 2022 - December 2024

During my time at Little Beans, I have completed my apprenticeship in Level 3 childcare, gaining my Level 3 Qualification under the age of 18. My role at Little Beans includes but not limited to:

Safeguarding all children and families
Supporting team in following daily routines and day to day running of the nursery
Completing any training required
Following all policies and procedures
Creating activities for children meeting the EYFS requirements & all 7 areas of learning
Ensuring a high standard of work throughout
Being a reliable key worker for a group of children
Adhering to confidentiality and data, protection rules and policies at all times
Maintaining a high standard of professional conduct
Within my time at Little Beans, I also received a promotion to the role of a Deputy Room Leader for our baby room where my role is to support my Room Leader in our daily routines as well as stepping into the Room Leader role when the Room Leader is absent. I was successful in supporting qualified members of staff as well as guiding apprentices. I quickly became confident within this role and I was able to adjust accordingly and efficiently.

Whilst working at Little Beans, I undertook a variety of several training courses, supported by my employer, Little Beans, to improve my skills within childcare.

I aspire to demonstrate my Level 3 qualification in childcare in a supportive, caring environment for children.

Extra-Curricular

Danced within 'Leilas Performers' 2010 - 2019

I attended this dance group for just over 9 years, I started as a dancer then became a young leader to role model for other members and younger children there. This dance group taught me how to be confident in working within a team, build relationships and create a positive environment for others. This was successful in supporting me to be the outgoing, confident and passionate young adult I am today.

Became a part of the 'School prefect' team in Year11

This role involved me attending regular meetings alongside my prefect team to discuss upcoming events such as, organising our leavers prom. I gained knowledge of how to work effectively through speaking my opinion during debates, alongside taking the whole years viewpoint into consideration to meet a fair result.
