About Me
Hello my name is Julie and welcome to GROWING TOGETHER EDUCATION AND CHILDCARE based in my home in the beautiful village of Ashwell.
I have just completed my Ofsted registration but have worked in the child care and education sector for 30 plus years since qualifying as a Nursery Nurse (NNEB) in 1988. Over the years I have worked as a Nanny (both in the UK and overseas) Maternity Nurse with newborns, worked in both state and private nurseries and been Senior management before becoming the Deputy and then Leader of our local Preschool before moving into the SEN sector
In all this time my priority is keeping the children in my care happy, safe and confident in both themselves and their learning
I am confident, caring, approachable, trustworthy and reliable
My Experience
I have extensive child care experience both professionally and personally
My only child is now in his mid 20's
Over the years I have worked with children starting with new borns all the way up to Year 11's
I have been either senior management or leader in Early Years Settings
I have been SENco as well as the Designated Safe Guarding Officer
Introduced the child led In The Moment curriculum to my setting
I am forward thinking and proactive in the care and education of children and all ages
