our individualality is celebrated in my setting. With our local park, playing fields and woodland on our doorstep, our natural environment is the perfect place to enjoy nature walks, forest school activities and daily adventures. Every day is an opportunity to learn whilst having fun with activities such as arts and crafts, water play, sensory play, learning about our world, story time, musical instruments, singing and dancing, yoga and feeding our guinea pigs (Juan, Pedro and Pablo). We also have a fun-loving, little fluffy dog. So come and join us, we can't wait to meet you.
My Experience
I'm mum to three grown up children and I'm also a grandmother. For several years, I worked in schools as an SEND teaching assistant. I provided emotional, behavioural, educational, personal care and medical support to children in early years and key stage one. I'm a therapeutic practitioner, implementing the PACE model which promotes positive communication, behaviour and acknowledgement of emotions in a child-centred way. I'm trained in creative therapies and mindfulness - I ran a mindful art club on returning to school after the covid 19 lockdown, for our key stage one children, which we all enjoyed.
My Qualifications
I have eight years experience working as a SEND teaching assistant and completed the therapeutic schools programme. I have three years counselling experience (with adults) and completed courses including working with bereavement and loss, creative therapies and mindfulness. I worked as a foster carer for 3 years. I completed several courses including childhood trauma, child bereavement, paediatric first aid, advanced safeguarding, GDPR and PREVENT.
My Availability
My home nursery is open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Thursday (times can be adjusted accordingly). My home nursery is open during school Holidays and closed on Bank Holidays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My hourly rate is £6.00 per hour and includes snacks and baby wipes. I'm registered with oldham LA for available funding options.
