My Experience
I’ve worked with children for several years in both educational and home settings. As a tutor at Tess’ Tutors in Lewisham, I supported children from Year 1 to Year 10, teaching English, Maths, basic Science, and 11+ content. I taught individuals, small groups, and larger classes, adapting my approach to suit each child’s learning style and confidence level.
Alongside tutoring, I’ve also gained hands-on childcare experience by helping to care for my younger siblings. This has given me a strong foundation in everything from homework help to creating fun activities, preparing meals, and managing routines in a safe and caring way.
I have experience supporting children with additional needs (SEND) and understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and clear communication. My background in healthcare and pharmacy has also given me a strong sense of responsibility and awareness when it comes to child safety and wellbeing.
My Qualifications
• Currently studying for an MPharm (Master of Pharmacy) degree
• Extensive tutoring experience in English, Maths, Science, and 11+ content (Year 1 to Year 10)

• Full UK driving licence
• Enhanced DBS check

My Availability
My availability varies seasonally depending on my university timetable, but I’m currently on break and very flexible with days, evenings, and weekends. I’m also open to overnight care and travel support if needed.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My rates start from £12 per hour, depending on the type of care and time of day. I’m happy to provide:
• Daytime and evening childcare
• Overnight stays
• Travel support (e.g. holidays or trips away)
• Tutoring in English, Maths, Science and 11+ preparation
Tutoring starts from £15 per hour, and I’m always open to discussing a fair rate based on your family’s needs and the level of support required.
