About Me

Hello, my name is Anna. I'm friendly, caring, bubbly, committed, mature, cheerful, and outgoing. I enjoy meeting people. I'm very reliable, punctual, and work well independently and as part of a team. I'm adaptable and can take new challenges with maturity and creativity. I'm open-minded, approachable, and always dedicate 100% effort and personality into everything I do. I love to have fun with the children but at the same time, being sensible and firm but fair. I can clean around the house. This includes things like Hoovering, hanging washing, tidying children's bedrooms, and around the house. I make dinner(providing them with a well-balanced diet) and wash up after. I enjoy being outdoors in all types of weather as I believe that outdoor play is very good for children as they develop tasks and achieve things like exploring, risk-taking, fine and gross motor development, and basic knowledge such as running, jumping, rolling, swinging, and climbing. It's a very healthy development for a child. Outdoor play plays a huge part in a child's life as this helps them learn a lot about the world: such as how does ice feel and sound and do sticks stand up in sand? I make sure parents are involved by providing them with a portfolio of what children have been up to during the different activities they have done, what foods they enjoy, pictures, and how the children are progressing with the development. I provide them with messages from schools/nurseries or accidents that have happened which we can then both sign at the end of every day. I enjoy swimming, tennis, trampolining, football, messy play, painting, cooking/baking, running around, going to attractions, and going to the park. I'm a qualified level 3 CHILDCARE with CACHE. I have my first aid. I love children; my passion and future hope is to open my own day care. I love to work with young children, I love planning activities, and putting the children’s best interests first. I have worked in different nurseries during my studies. I have worked with babies, nursery and reception, and schools. I'm passionate about this as I see children as the future. I have been taking care of my little brother since he was a young age, and now he’s 9, and I do help him if he needs anything such as homework. I can provide and plan activities for the children. This can be activities like cooking, baking, painting, different food and fruit tasting from all around the world, will help children with homework and school projects, I follow the EYFS( Early Years Foundation Stage), which is used for children from birth to 5 years, and also use the National Curriculum for children 5 to 16. I got copies for both of these, which I plan activities using to provide them with correct progress. I will work with parents providing the right dietary needs for the children (from vegetarian to vegan to many more) and specific activities parents would like me to do with the children.
