About Me
My husband and I have two lovely boys who are aged 6 and 3. Our elder son is autistic, he loves helping to do things, sharing his knowledge of dinosaurs and animals and playing alone or with his brother. However, he can have difficulty with sleep, communicating with people he doesn't know well and can be overwhelmed by unexpected situations. Our 3 year old is sunny and boisterous, he loves painting, drawing, building and playing outside.
My Requirements
At the moment, only my husband, me and Grandma have a close enough relationship to be able to care for our elder son. Our aim is to find someone who can build up a relationship with him and therefore look after both boys on an evening or at the weekend to allow my husband and I time together or possibly to help look after the boys when one of us is working.
An ability to tutor our elder son would be an advantage, as we are looking to prevent the return to school shock in September by reinforcing his learning from the previous year over the summer holidays.
