Hello, I am Jessica. A PE teacher of 14 years and a passionate leader and educator for SEND. As a qualified teacher and SENDCo, I have an in depth knowledge and understanding of children, milestones, language and behaviour. I love the outdoors, encouraging children to connect with nature, play, role model and be ‘children’
I am a very proud mother to a beautiful 6 year old, a boy that been brought up to be kind, developed his own ways to regulate and uses emotional literacy to express how he feels.
I enjoy walking, weight lifting, and drinking coffee in my own time when I’m not watching my son play rugby, tennis or swimming!!
My Experience
I have worked in education for over 20 years, teaching EYFS to Sixth Form and Post 16. As a PE teacher, I am an active person that firmly believes that sport and exercise is paramount to development and lifelong participation.
My passion for SEND stems from my own personal experience with my brother’s education and the huge amount of support and guidance he received. I firmly believe that education is built on connection and relationships, where children feel safe, seen, heard and understood.
