My Experience

For several years, I’ve provided trusted babysitting services, typically working around 20 hours per week for families in my network and close friends. This includes children aged 0-12. My experience also includes professional childcare work—I was previously employed with a care agency where I regularly handled childminding duties such as school drop-offs/pick-ups, after-school care, and evening babysitting.

Beyond my regular babysitting work, I actively mentor two childcare apprentices, providing hands-on guidance in early childhood development and professional caregiving. I didn’t just offer advice—I helped both of them secure formal childcare apprenticeships, connecting them with opportunities that aligned with their skills and goals.

For two years, I served as the primary caregiver for my grandfather during his palliative care, managing medications, mobility support, and emotional companionship. This experience deepened my patience, adaptability, and ability to provide compassionate care—qualities I now bring to every interaction with children and families.
