About Me
I am a mother of 2 and have been a foster carer also. I have always had a passion working with children, I began mainly in KS2 and EYFS. Since then, I have worked across primary, supported new teachers to become qualified, supported new parents with their babies and also parents/carers to support their children through transitional periods. Currently, I work full time in an SEMH school, supporting and teaching children with a range of neurodivergent needs.
My Experience
I have over 23 years experience working with babies to year 6 and have been teaching for over 18 years. I also specialise in EYFS, SEND, preparation for SATS, homework and 11+.
I have worked in leadership, as a consultant, supporting teachers, parents and carers and have also been a Foster carer.
I have recently left mainstream to build on my SEMH experience and skills, which I enjoy, as I am able to design the curriculum to suit each of my children according to their interests and skills.
