My Summary
About Me
Hi! My name is Rose-marie, and I’m a warm, reliable, and caring individual with over 7 years of hands-on experience in childcare, working with children from birth all the way up to 8 years old. I genuinely love supporting children through every stage of their early development, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, caring, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun.
I’m especially enthusiastic about arts and crafts—there’s nothing better than seeing little ones light up when they create something with their own hands. Whether it’s painting, collaging, or fun seasonal projects, I love planning creative activities that spark imagination and build confidence. I also enjoy spending lots of time outdoors, encouraging children to explore nature, stay active, and enjoy adventures in the fresh air.
Over the years, I’ve built a strong reputation as someone who is trustworthy, patient, and deeply attentive to the unique needs of each child and family. I’m confident in supporting daily routines, nurturing emotional well-being, and helping children feel secure and happy in their everyday lives.
If you're looking for a nanny who brings experience, creativity, and genuine care into your home, I’d love to connect and see how I can support your family.
My Experience
Over the past seven years, I have had the privilege of working in various nurseries, each offering unique opportunities for professional growth and learning. Through my experience, I have explored a range of child development approaches and have cultivated a deep understanding of how essential it is to create environments that inspire curiosity, exploration, and wonder in young children.
In my most recent role, I had the opportunity to work in a nursery that follows both the Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches. These methodologies have profoundly shaped my view on education, highlighting the importance of child-led learning, the value of fostering independence, and the creation of a rich, stimulating environment. I have learned to empower children to take charge of their learning, to see them as capable and curious individuals, and to offer them the tools and support they need to explore the world around them.
Despite my passion for the field, I have taken a step back from working in nurseries for a period. During this time, I have come to realise that many settings were not prioritizing the true essence of care—the emotional, social, and developmental needs of the children were not always at the heart of daily practice. This observation was disheartening, and it reaffirmed my desire to make a meaningful difference in how young children are cared for and nurtured.
I am now seeking to transition into a nannying role for a family that values connection, care, and a thoughtful approach to early years development. I believe that working closely with a family will allow me to provide more focused, consistent, and personalised care, truly putting the wellbeing of the child at the forefront of everything I do. I am passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment that supports a child’s natural curiosity and encourages them to thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
As I move forward in this new chapter, I am excited about the opportunity to bring the knowledge and experience I’ve gained into a home setting—where care and connection are deeply valued, and where I can make a lasting, positive impact in a child's life.
