My Experience

I have several years of experience working in childcare, primarily in a nursery setting where I have taken on the role of a key person. This has involved supporting the learning and development of my key children through regular observations, tailored activity planning, and close communication with families. I am confident in working in line with the EYFS framework, ensuring that each child’s individual needs and interests are met. I have developed strong skills in building trusting relationships with both children and parents, and I take pride in creating a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, happy, and eager to learn.

My Qualifications

I hold a recognised qualification in childcare which has provided me with a strong foundation in early years education and child development. Through my training, I gained knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and supporting children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. My qualification also equipped me with the skills to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework. I have completed paediatric first aid training and regularly keep up to date with best practices through ongoing professional development.
