My Experience

I have two young children of my own. I have also worked as a Primary School Teacher for 18 years. More than half of this time has been spent specialising in the Early Years, but I also have vast experience of working with older children too.
The valuable skills I have gained through my career enable me to plan effective, authentic, real-life experiences and activities for the children in my care. I am able to observe the way children play and then mould their experiences around the way they individually learn
and develop, ensuring that each child makes the best progress they can each day, whilst at the same time feeling well cared for and nurtured.

My Qualifications

* City & Guilds Level 3 Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development: Practice
* Paediatric First Aid
* Group C Safeguarding
* Food Hygiene
* Forest Schools Qualification
* BA Honours Primary with QTS
* Numerous training relevant training courses undertaken throughout my teaching career covering aspects such as children with Additional Learning Needs, Behaviour Management, Learning through Play using the Froebelian approach. My Availability

The service will open in August 2025. Opening hours will be Monday to Friday 7am - 6pm.
Wraparound to Tongwynlais Primary School will be available.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

• £6 per hour.
• Full day rates will vary depending on drop off and pick up times.
E.g. 8am – 5pm for 9 hours would cost £54.
15 minutes after the hour (in this example, between 5pm – 5.15pm) would remain at the same 9 hour rate. Anytime after the 15 minutes would be charged at the 10 hour rate.
