My name is Patricia, I’m a 21-year-old female originally from Essex, now living in Meanwood while studying Business Management at the University of Leeds. As someone who’s always loved being around children, I find real joy and purpose in supporting their development through play, education, or simple everyday care. My journey into childcare began with regularly looking after my younger family members, where I quickly discovered a natural patience and a nurturing instinct. That experience and my role as a cover teacher in various secondary schools across Leeds has only deepened my love for working with young people. My Experience
I'm a second-year Business Management student at the University of Leeds, currently based in Meanwood. I have a strong background in administration, having worked with prestigious automotive brands such as Aston Martin, BMW, and Bentley. Over the past year, I’ve also been working as a cover substitute teacher in secondary schools across Leeds, which has given me valuable hands-on experience working with children and young people in diverse educational settings.
I hold an enhanced DBS check for both children and adults, and I have experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). One particularly rewarding experience was working one-to-one with a wonderful 8-year-old autistic boy, where I developed patience, empathy, and creative approaches to learning and care.
Alongside my professional experience, I have regularly looked after my younger family members, which has deepened my love for working with children. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s helping with homework, encouraging creativity, or just having fun. My experience in both structured educational environments and informal family settings makes me confident in my ability to provide safe, engaging, and supportive care as a babysitter.

My Availability
I still currently work as a teacher, from 8am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday I am not available due to work. From 4:30pm onwards on Thursdays and Fridays, I am available for babysitting work. I can potentially work Monday to Friday in the evenings if required and can work around my driving lessons, which I usually take right after I finish work on Monday to Wednesday until further notice.
