About Me
I am a Student studying biology at the University of Exeter and I have a real passion for working with children. The ability to just make a child smile is such a huge honour let alone being able to make a difference in their early lives and their learning. In my free time I love to bake, over the years I have collected a list of fun recipes that can promote both independance and creativity in children.
My Experience
I have over 2 years of expirence tutoring children aged 4-17, working in a 1:6 ratio, tailoring leaning plans for children of different ages and with diffrent needs. I have specifically worked with many children with SEN on a weekly or bi-weely basis.
I ran an in-school lunchtime club for pupils with SEN in my 6th form years. This club acted as an evironment for these children to voice any personal or achedmic conerns and to make friends with other children with similar expirences. As it was a senior school, this club was availible for children aged 11-17.
I worked in a nursey for a few months over the summer before I started university, working with children from the age of 3 months up till 5 years in varing ratios.
My Qualifications
I have 11 GCSE's and 3 A-levels with an A in biology, a B in chemistry and a B in drama.
I have extensive training in safeguarding and first aid- I compleated the St John's Ambulance: NHS Cadets programme.
My Availability
Over my summer break (june-september) my availiblity is much more widespread however during ternm time it is much more restricted.
