Hi! I'm Sophie, a university student available for babysitting work over the summer. I have over four years of experience caring for children aged 2 to 15 both as a babysitter and gymnastics coach. My Experience
I have over four years of hands-on experience working with children in both casual and structured settings. I’ve worked as a babysitter for families with children ranging from toddlers to teens, managing mealtimes and bedtime routines to playtime and helping with homework.
In addition to babysitting, I’ve been a children’s gymnastics coach, working with kids aged 2 to 15. This role helped me develop strong skills in communication, patience, and creative engagement—especially with energetic or shy children. I’ve also tutored science at both GCSE and A-level, supporting students in building confidence and understanding in their schoolwork.
My experience has taught me how to balance fun, learning, and safety while adapting to the unique needs of each child.
My Qualifications
Currently I am studying Psychology at the University of Edinburgh.
My Availability
I'm currently available for babysitting throughout the summer from 1st of June to 6th September. This includes weekdays and weekends, I can offer daytime and evening hours depending on your family's needs.
