About Me
We are a warm, friendly family seeking a passionate and experienced nanny to care for our curious, sociable, and energetic nearly 2-year-old son. Our little one is full of energy, loves outdoor activities, and is always discovering new things. We want someone who can match his enthusiasm and creativity, bringing fun learning opportunities, outdoor play, and mini-adventures into his daily routine.
We place great value on building a long-term relationship with the right nanny, someone who will become an important part of our family’s journey. We’re also looking for someone who can confidently help with early swimming skills, promote healthy eating habits, and foster our son’s growing communication skills.
We believe in a positive, structured environment where our son can thrive—exploring new activities, building confidence, and interacting with other children. If you’re someone who can provide nurturing, thoughtful care while encouraging our son’s curiosity and development, we’d love to hear from you!
My Requirements
We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and imaginative nanny to care for our nearly 2-year-old son. He currently attends nursery full-time, but we want to transition him to part-time nursery (Mondays & Tuesdays) and find a nanny for 1-2-1 care for the remaining four days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Working Hours:
• Wednesday to Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
• Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm (with some flexibility on start time)
Key Responsibilities:
• Development-focused care: Providing one-to-one care with a focus on early development, learning, and building confidence.
• Active and Imaginative Play: Planning and carrying out engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, outdoor exploration, and social interactions.
• Healthy Eating: Light meal prep, encouraging healthy eating habits, introducing him to new foods, and advising us on nutritious meal ideas (we do the cooking).
• Water Confidence: Confidence in the water and basic swim teaching skills to help build his early water confidence.
• Communication Development: Supporting and teaching him communication skills through play, conversation, and other interactive activities.
• Errands & Support: Running small errands related to his needs (e.g., collecting groceries, supplies).
• Tidying: Light tidying of areas used during activities to ensure a safe, organized environment.
Ideal Candidate:
• Extensive experience working with toddlers.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Current DBS certificate and Paediatric First Aid.
• Strong references from previous families.
• Confident swimmer with the ability to teach early swim skills.
We are looking for a reliable, nurturing nanny who can become a trusted part of our family and help our son grow and thrive in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. If this sounds like you, we’d love to connect!
